Job Requirements: 1. Proficient in Java programming language with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. 2. Strong knowledge of core Java concepts, including Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, I/O, and JVM fundamentals. 3. Deep understanding of source code for HashMap and ConcurrentHashMap; familiar with Java 8+ features such as Stream API, Optional, and Lambda expressions. 4. Experience in SSM/Spring Boot development; good understanding of Spring Cloud microservices ecosystem. 5. Strong SQL skills, including SQL writing, query optimization, and index design. 6. Basic knowledge of Redis and message queues (MQ); understand underlying principles and able to troubleshoot common issues. 7. Familiar with development tools such as Git and Maven. 8. Understanding of factory systems, finance systems, and HR (human resource) systems is an advantage. 9. Strong system design ability, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 10. Strong coding discipline, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure. 11. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
