As the Managing Director for Thailand, you will take full ownership of the local business, leading commercial growth, operational excellence, and organizational development. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced executive with strong architectural expertise and a proven ability to expand business beyond existing client networks. You will work closely with regional and Japan headquarters while playing a key role in strengthening the company's presence in the local market. ◆Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall business operations of the Thailand office with full P&L responsibility. Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable growth and long-term profitability. Drive business development by expanding relationships with existing clients and acquiring new customers within the local market. Build and strengthen the company's market presence by leveraging industry networks and strategic partnerships. Oversee architectural and project delivery to ensure quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved. Monitor operational performance and implement continuous process improvements. Lead financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control to optimize business performance. Make strategic business and investment decisions aligned with corporate objectives. Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team through effective recruitment, coaching, and succession planning. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented organizational culture. Work closely with regional leadership and headquarters to align business strategies and corporate initiatives. Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned. ◆Requirements: [Must Have] 10–20+ years of experience in architectural design, project management, or related leadership roles within the architecture industry. Proven experience as a Managing Director, Country Manager, General Manager, or equivalent executive leadership role with full P&L responsibility. Demonstrated leadership across business development, operations, finance, and corporate management. Strong track record in business development and acquiring new clients through established industry networks. Ability to expand business beyond existing customer segments and drive sustainable commercial growth. Experience in client negotiations, contract management, budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Registered Architect or holder of a recognized architectural qualification. Business-level English communication skills to liaise with English-speaking stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly, logically, and in a results-oriented manner. A hands-on, humble, and trustworthy leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for driving business transformation. [Good to Have] Strong professional network within Thailand's architecture, construction, engineering, or real estate sectors. Proven success in developing local and multinational client portfolios. Experience working within multinational or cross-cultural organizations.
