Role Overview We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Assistant Manager to join our Corporate Communications team. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our digital platforms and visual storytelling. You will champion our brand’s visual identity, oversee end-to-end multimedia production, manage digital assets, and ensure seamless technical execution for high-profile corporate events. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of transforming complex corporate messages into engaging, premium digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Brand & Visual Strategy Visual Identity Custodian: Act as the ultimate guardian of the organization’s visual identity. Define, establish, and enforce comprehensive visual standards for Key Visuals (KV), videos, and all multimedia formats. Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs strictly adhere to corporate brand guidelines, maintaining a premium, consistent, and highly professional look and feel across all internal and external touchpoints. Creative Concepting: Collaborate with the broader communications team to brainstorm and develop innovative visual campaigns that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. Digital Content & Multimedia Production End-to-End Video Production: Manage the full lifecycle of video production for corporate communications, encompassing storyboarding, filming, lighting, audio recording, and photography. Advanced Post-Production: Execute high-level post-production tasks, including non-linear editing, 2D/3D motion graphics, color grading, and sound mixing, to craft compelling narratives that resonate with industry stakeholders and the public. Visual Storytelling: Transform static information and complex data into engaging, elegant video and visual stories. Digital Platforms & UI/UX Platform Management: Oversee the visual presentation and User Interface (UI) design of our digital platforms, including corporate websites and portals. User Experience (UX) Optimization: Collaborate closely with web developers and IT teams to continuously enhance UX, ensuring the digital journey is intuitive, modern, and reflective of a premium brand. Digital Analytics: Monitor the performance and user engagement of digital assets, utilizing insights to recommend design and content improvements. Event Management & AV Support Event Workflow Implementation: Drive the event management workflow from planning to execution for corporate communications, press conferences, seminars, and PR events. Technical Leadership: Provide expert, on-site Audio-Visual (AV) system support. Manage complex equipment setups, oversee live broadcasting/streaming, and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to ensure flawless event execution. Asset, Vendor & Project Management Media Asset Management (MAM): Implement and oversee a robust, centralized control system for all corporate media assets. Ensure videos, photography, presentations (PPT), and documents (PDF) are securely archived, meticulously categorized, and properly version-controlled. Vendor & Budget Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, production houses, and freelancers. Oversee creative production budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery of high-quality assets. Ad-hoc Duties: Carry out any other strategic or administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Requirements Education & Experience A recognized degree in Creative Media, Multimedia Design, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline. A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in a creative agency, production house, or corporate communications environment. Proven track record of managing complex multimedia projects from conception to completion within tight deadlines. Technical & Creative Skills Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) is mandatory. Solid understanding of website UI/UX principles, digital file formats, and modern Content Management Systems (CMS). Extensive hands-on experience in Media Asset Management (MAM) and centralized digital archiving. Strong capability in event management workflows and live AV system operation. A stellar portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated art sense, mastery of typography and layout, and exceptional visual storytelling capabilities. Interpersonal & Professional Attributes Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate creative concepts effectively to non-technical senior management and cross-functional teams. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital trends, social media formats, and emerging AV/production technologies. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
