Labor Relations Specialist Job Summary The Labor Relations Specialist is responsible for promoting a fair, compliant, and harmonious workplace by managing employee relations concerns, supporting disciplinary case administration, ensuring proper documentation, and providing guidance on company policies and labor standards. The role also supports reporting, policy implementation, employee awareness initiatives, and employee engagement programs through data-driven insights and effective communication materials. Key Responsibilities Employee & Labor Relations Manage administrative and disciplinary cases from investigation through resolution. Conduct fact-finding investigations, administrative hearings, and case reviews. Prepare case reports, findings, and recommendations. Ensure proper implementation of due process and disciplinary procedures. Facilitate resolution of employee concerns while maintaining fairness, consistency, and compliance. Support initiatives that promote positive employee relations and workplace harmony. Compliance & Advisory Provide guidance to managers and employees on labor standards, company policies, employee discipline, and workplace conduct. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Support the consistent application of employee relations practices across the organization. Monitor labor-related developments and recommend policy or process improvements when necessary. Documentation & Case Management Draft notices, memoranda, advisories, decision letters, and other HR-related communications. Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized employee relations records and case documentation. Monitor case timelines and ensure timely completion and resolution of cases. Ensure proper records management and documentation standards are maintained. Analytics & Reporting Track, analyze, and monitor employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues. Prepare reports, dashboards, and trend analyses to support management decision-making. Identify recurring employee relations concerns and recommend preventive and corrective measures. Utilize data-driven insights to improve employee relations strategies, compliance initiatives, and policy implementation. Policy Development & Stakeholder Coordination Assist in the review, development, and implementation of company policies related to employee conduct, discipline, and labor compliance. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties, including legal counsel and government agencies, when necessary. Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, workplace harmony, and organizational compliance. Employee Awareness & Communication Support Develop employee awareness materials related to company policies, code of conduct, and labor compliance. Create presentations, communication materials, and awareness campaigns that promote workplace standards and engagement. Perform basic video editing for training materials, policy awareness campaigns, employee communications, and learning content. Support employee education and engagement programs through multimedia content and learning materials. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Legal Management, or a related field. Experience Experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR Compliance, or related HR functions is an advantage but not required. Fresh graduates with strong academic credentials, relevant internship experience, leadership involvement, or extracurricular achievements are welcome to apply. Exposure to administrative investigations, employee relations, labor-related concerns, HR analytics, or employee engagement initiatives is an advantage. Required Skills & Knowledge Basic knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and due process procedures. Understanding of employee and labor relations principles. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong documentation, report writing, and organizational skills. Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Ability to create presentations and employee communication materials. Knowledge of Power BI, Excel dashboards, or other reporting tools is an advantage. Basic video editing, graphic design, or multimedia content creation skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools) are a plus. Willingness to learn and develop expertise in labor relations, compliance, and HR best practices.
