📢Job Opening: B2B Sales Executive (Japanese Imported Sweet Potatoes) – Pathum Thani (Talaad Thai) An exciting commercial opportunity, a premier Japanese agricultural import-export firm headquartered in Asakura City, Fukuoka. Founded in 2016, exports top-grade, fresh Japanese produce across Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. This role focuses on expanding the footprint of premium imported Japanese sweet potatoes ( Satsumaimo ) across Thailand. The office is strategically positioned at Talaad Thai (Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani) —Southeast Asia's largest wholesale fresh produce distribution hub. Key Responsibilities B2B Wholesale Sales: Promote and drive distribution of premium Japanese sweet potatoes to local Thai accounts, primarily targeting wholesale merchants, fresh produce distributors, and food processing clients. Account Development & Outreach: Build long-term relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new sales leads, including: Fresh market vendors and regional fruit/vegetable wholesalers. Suppliers selling directly to supermarkets, retail chains, hotels, and HoReCa accounts. Baked sweet potato ( Yaki-imo ) vendors, online snack brands, and food processors/confectionery manufacturers. Upcountry distribution partners. Cross-Cultural Coordination: Conduct day-to-day sales pitches and customer negotiations in Thai, while reporting sales pipeline updates to the Japanese Manager in English. (Thai staff fluent in Japanese are available to support when complex translation is needed). Field Visits: Travel around key wholesale markets and distribution centers across Bangkok, Pathum Thani, and provinces using a corporate vehicle. Requirements Experience: Proven Sales experience (experience in the food industry, fresh produce, FMCG, or wholesale distribution is strongly preferred). Candidate Advantage: Candidates with an existing network or connections within Talaad Thai, supermarket supply chains, or sweet potato product manufacturers will be given special consideration. Languages: Native Thai, with Intermediate English skills (able to communicate routine work updates and sales metrics to Japanese management). Driving: Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving for customer visits. Work Details Location: Talaad Thai (Khlong Song, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani). Employment Type: Full-time. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 THB/Month (Negotiable based on candidate background and client network). Allowance & Benefits Corporate Vehicle: Company car provided for official client visits. Financial Subsidies: Business Trip Allowance and Communication/Mobile Allowance. Health & Welfare: Social Security (SSO) coverage and 30 days of paid sick leave per year (medical certificate required for 3+ consecutive days).
