Welder/Fabricator - Tow bars Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled tradesperson to join a busy Hamilton workshop specialising in the fabrication of tow bars and towing components. This is an immediate start role offering competitive pay, weekly wages, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a well-equipped workshop. Location: Hamilton Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $32–$34 per hour About the Role As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality tow bars and towing components while maintaining excellent workmanship and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld tow bars and towing components using MIG welding. Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, drill, and prepare steel components for fabrication. Assemble and fit tow bars to vehicles. Grind, finish, and inspect welds to ensure a high-quality finish. Operate fabrication equipment including welders, drills, grinders, saws, and other workshop machinery. Carry out repairs and modifications to existing tow bars and fabricated products. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop. Follow all health and safety procedures while meeting production deadlines. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, in tow bars, trailers, automotive, or light engineering. Strong MIG welding skills (TIG welding experience is advantageous). Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings. Experience using hand and power tools safely. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Full Class 1 driver's licence preferred. What's in it for You? Competitive pay rate of $32–$34 per hour. Weekly pay.
