About the role This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent fault-finding skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to grow with a professional and respected local company. Your work will include residential electrical installations, renovations and alterations, new builds and commercial fit-outs, switchboard upgrades and replacements, fault finding, repairs and maintenance, commercial electrical work, testing, commissioning and compliance, and electrical work associated with air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation and EV charger installations. Key responsibilities Residential electrical installations Renovations and alterations New builds and commercial fit-outs Switchboard upgrades and replacements Fault finding, repairs and maintenance Commercial electrical work Testing, commissioning and compliance Electrical work associated with air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation and EV charger installations About you Current EWRB Practising Licence Full New Zealand Driver Licence Strong residential and commercial electrical experience Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience completing switchboard upgrades and renovations Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and New Zealand electrical regulations Confidence completing testing, commissioning, COCs and ESCs Ability to read plans and manage projects from start to finish Professional communication and customer service skills About us BS Energy Services Ltd is a locally owned and growing company based in Tauranga, specialising in high-quality residential and commercial electrical services.
