About the Role We are seeking an organized, compliance-focused Accounts Officer to join our team in Noosaville on a permanent part-time basis (4 days per week). You will manage our end-to-end daily financial transactions, weekly payroll operations, and end-of-month reporting workflows. This role requires a dedicated professional with high attention to detail to ensure our administrative, invoicing, and payroll workflows align perfectly with statutory and legislative standards. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Execute the complete weekly payroll cycle accurately and on time. Manage and process superannuation lodgements, compliance, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, and leave calculations. Daily Accounts & Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations and financial data entry. Handle complete Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows, process staff expenses, petty cash, and credit card statements. Invoicing & Customer Relations: Collate daily work dockets, execute thorough reconciliation to timesheets, and ensure timely submission of monthly invoices. Follow up on outstanding invoices and vendor queries. Month-End & Governance: Manage end-of-month processing of financial reports for management review. Strictly adhere to all legislative policies, financial regulations, and employment standards. WHS Administration: Coordinate Workcover administration and workplace incident reporting workflows. Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field is highly desirable. Software: Essential proficiency and hands-on experience using Xero . Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial data entry are required. Core Experience: Proven experience running weekly payroll and accounting principles and financial processes. Prior background as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or a similar corporate accounting role. Operations: Strong competency interpreting daily work dockets, reconciling timesheets, and running month-end reports with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Communication: Excellent communication skills for managing vendor, client, and internal staff queries. Compliance Mindset: High level of accuracy with a commitment to strictly adhering to legal frameworks.
