Part Time Bookkeeper (Hybrid)

Extreme Tilers Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This hybrid role offers approximately 3 days per week with flexible (with the potential for more), school-friendly hours, making it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a great work-life balance. The successful applicant will play a key role in managing the company's day-to-day financial operations and must have strong experience using Xero. Key responsibilities include: Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank and credit card reconciliations Payroll processing BAS preparation and lodgement Maintaining the general ledger and financial records Assisting with month-end reporting Monitoring cash flow Liaising with our external accountant General bookkeeping and financial administration Essential requirements: Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 3 years preferred) Advanced working knowledge of Xero Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable: Experience in the construction industry Knowledge of payroll compliance and Superannuation Experience with job costing or project-based businesses What we offer: Hybrid work arrangement Approximately three days per week Flexible hours that suit school drop-off and pick-up Supportive, friendly team environment Long-term opportunity with an established and growing Queensland construction company If you're an experienced Xero Bookkeeper looking for a flexible role where your skills will be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
