About the role You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the project on site, working closely with the Director while taking ownership of the construction programme, subcontractors, quality and site operations. Key responsibilities Taking day-to-day control of a high-end architectural residential project Reading and thoroughly understanding architectural, structural and consultant documentation Planning works ahead and identifying potential issues before they affect the programme Programming and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries Managing and directing Curated Construction's builders and apprentices Ensuring subcontractors are ready to commence and have the information they require Maintaining exceptionally high standards of workmanship and finish Checking work as it progresses rather than identifying problems after completion Coordinating inspections, engineers, architects and other consultants Managing site health and safety and maintaining a clean, organised and professional site About you 5–10+ years' experience in residential construction, with significant experience in high-end or architectural homes NZ trade qualification in carpentry Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Manager or senior builder responsible for running projects Strong understanding of NZ residential construction methods and sequencing Excellent ability to read architectural and structural drawings High attention to detail and an understanding of the standard of finish expected in premium residential construction Strong organisational and forward-planning skills Confidence coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades Good communication skills with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and the Curated team Full NZ driver's licence About us Curated Construction specialises in architecturally designed, high-end residential construction and renovations across Auckland.
