Motorhome Repair Specialist

About the role You'll be expected to tackle a broad range of repair jobs in motorhomes – no two days will be the same! This is an opportunity to join a stable company with a very busy repair centre, offering job security for the right candidate. The company specialises in new builds, new fitouts, repairs for both the private market and the leading rental brands, and accessory installation. Key responsibilities Remove and install cabinetry and furniture in motorhomes Repair, modify or make new cabinetry and furniture Repair and replace internal panels (wood panels, vinyl panels etc.) Remove and replace windows, vents (must be comfortable working at heights) Basic plumbing (removing and installing tapware/water pumps/toilets etc) Exterior component removal and installations (such as awnings/cabin door/locker doors/steps etc.) Motorhome floor replacements Remove and reinstall windows, locker doors and cabin doors in motorhomes, ensuring proper sealing and alignment Accurately find and repair leaks – both water and structural Hand building cabinets from measurement only About you Capable with the use and knowledge of hand tools, power tools and joinery machinery, glues etc. Be able to create solid timber products to a high standard (be able to demonstrate experience in woodwork) Carefully remove and reinstall joinery (cabinets, internal fittings, trims) Good health and able to handle some heavy lifting Good attention to detail Punctual and a tidy worker Have the ability to work and communicate well with a team Be willing to learn new techniques, gain new knowledge and skills Understand that processes are in place to meet tight deadlines and maintain high workmanship and reputation The right candidate will also be a team player, have good communications skills and possess the ability to work independently
