About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scanning Coordinator to join our Christchurch team on a fixed-term basis until May 2027 . Full training will be provided to the right candidate. No formal qualifications are required; we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in property and construction, good technical skills and a willingness to learn new technology and systems. Key responsibilities Undertake 3D scans of residential properties across the South Island. Operate drone and scanning equipment to capture accurate property data. Assist the Building Surveyor during on-site inspections and assessments. Prepare and organise scan documentation and digital files from data collected in the field. Support the processing and organisation of scanned data and stitched digital files where required. Maintain equipment and ensure data is captured to required quality standards. Coordinate site scanning activities and ensure all information is accurately recorded. Follow health and safety requirements when working on residential properties and construction-related sites. About you An interest in property, construction, surveying, or building assessment. Experience operating drones, laser scanners, or similar surveying technology (preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and processing data. Good computer skills and confidence working with digital files and software. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and organisational skills. A full New Zealand driver's licence. A current drone pilot qualification or willingness to obtain one (desirable).
