I'm working with a small, well-respected surveying consultancy in Christchurch that is looking for a self-sufficient Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS) to work directly alongside the Director as they continue to grow the business. Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS) 📍 Christchurch Myne Talent | Specialists in Engineering & Surveying Recruitment (NZ & AUS) My client is a boutique surveying consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering quality cadastral and land development projects throughout Canterbury. With a growing workload and exciting plans for the future, they're looking for an experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor who wants more than just another job. You'll work side-by-side with the Director, helping grow the business, build client relationships, and play a major role in its continued success. The Role: This is a unique opportunity to combine technical surveying with leadership and business development. You'll take ownership of your own projects while also becoming a trusted advisor to clients and helping drive the future direction of the company. Key Responsibilities: Delivery of cadastral and land development surveying projects Managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion Building and maintaining strong client relationships Working alongside the Director to grow the business Assisting with business development and winning new work Preparation and management of Landonline datasets Mentoring junior staff as the team continues to expand Providing high-quality technical advice to clients About You: Licensed Cadastral Surveyor in New Zealand (Or close to) Strong background in NZ land development projects Excellent working knowledge of Landonline Experience using 12d, Civil 3D and modern survey equipment Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills Self-motivated and confident working autonomously Someone excited by the opportunity to help build a growing business Why Join?
