Our client is a respected Chartered Accounting firm seeking an experienced Senior BAS Accountant, with potential to become the 2IC within the team . This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Partners, take ownership of key client relationships, and play an integral role in leading and developing the wider team. What You'll Be Doing Lead a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients. Work alongside the Partners on key client relationships and business growth. Review and sign off work completed by junior and intermediate accountants. Deliver high-value tax planning and business advisory services.. Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement across the BAS team. What You'll Bring CA qualified (preferred). 5+ years' experience within a New Zealand CA/public practice environment. Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others. Confidence managing complex client relationships independently. Excellent technical knowledge across tax, GST and financial reporting.
