HomeHub is a wholly owned subsidiary of IAG New Zealand, with branches located in major metropolitan cities across New Zealand. The organisation provides market-leading home reinstatement services for IAG customers. About the Role The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are well executed from start to finish, delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role supports the full life cycle of the project ensuring great customer experience, delivered in a timely and profitable manner by working with internal team, scheduling trades, keeping records up to date, communicating clearly with customers and team, and supporting positive and collaborative teamwork. Key Accountabilities Manage end to end delivery of construction projects, primarily insurance-related reinstatement works as well as customer direct home improvements. Ensure project activities are planned and delivered in compliance with HSE legislation, company policies, and client requirements, while proactively identifying, managing, and reporting health, safety, and environmental risks Oversee project delivery, including estimation, cost planning, and variation management, and working with team to deliver an exceptional customer experience Proactive Collaboration with estimators, internal trades, contractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective communication and project delivery Conduct pre-start, regular onsite inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance and customer handover on completion Monitor timelines, resolve issues, and maintain project performance targets Identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain project documentation Generate causation reports, detailed scopes of work, and estimated costing to repair property damage following in-person or virtual assessments and estimate variation of works as and when required, ensuring accurate pricing and approvals Ensure all costs are accurately entered into company software Oversee a variety of trades across different locations Ensure all relevant compliance material (e.g. producer statements, manuals, warranty and council documentation) is obtained Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and building standards and follow all compliance and H&S requirements including asbestos testing (where required) May be required to be rostered on-call (after hours) for a few weeks a year to assist with urgent and emergency response enquiries.
