Trademark Attorney (Senior/Mid-Level)

We are looking for a motivated Trademark Attorney to join our Trademark team. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of trademark matters for both local and international clients, covering the full lifecycle of trademark protection in Thailand, including national applications, Madrid Protocol designations, contentious proceedings and post-registration matters. Key Responsibilities Preparing and filing trademark applications; Conducting pre-filing trademark searches and advising on registrability and filing strategies; Preparing, reviewing and translating specifications of goods and services; Responding to Office Actions and advising on prosecution strategies; Liaising with clients, foreign associates and the Thai Trademark Office; Handling appeals before the Thai Trademark Board, as well as opposition, counterstatement and cancellation proceedings; Managing post-registration matters, including renewals, assignments, changes of name and address, mergers, licences and other recordals; Advising clients on trademark enforcement, infringement and portfolio management; and Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions, client correspondence and other legal documents. Requirements LL.B. or LL.M. degree in Law; At least 2 years of relevant experience in trademark prosecution, preferably with an IP firm or law firm; Experience in handling trademark matters for international clients and liaising with foreign associates would be an advantage; Excellent command of written and spoken English and Thai; Strong legal drafting, analytical and communication skills; Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently while effectively managing multiple matters and deadlines; Strong interest in intellectual property law and willingness to further develop expertise in this field; and Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
