Assistant Manager Dipping, Washing & Drying Production

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan production schedules and allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to meet production and delivery targets. Supervise dipping, washing, and drying operations, including control of condom thickness, length, appearance, and other defined product specifications. Monitor latex-compound and chemical availability to maintain production continuity and prevent avoidable downtime. Track process performance, product quality, trial runs, and new-process or new-product evaluations; communicate findings and follow-up actions. Analyze trends, deviations, defects, and production losses; lead root-cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action. Control consumption and cost of latex, chemicals, utilities, and production materials while maintaining quality and safety requirements. Establish and monitor production KPIs such as yield, scrap, downtime, productivity, quality defects, and on-time completion. Ensure compliance with work instructions, GMP, applicable ISO/medical-device quality requirements, occupational safety, environmental controls, and company policies. Develop supervisors and production employees through coaching, training, performance feedback, and effective workforce management. Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly departmental reports for management review. Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance. Promote 5S, waste reduction, risk control, and continuous-improvement initiatives across the production area. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of production experience in natural-rubber, medical-device, condom, rubber-glove, dipping, forming, or a comparable manufacturing environment. At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory, production leadership, or Assistant Manager role. Strong knowledge of production control, in-process quality control, process troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action. Experience with production KPIs, cost control, yield improvement, waste reduction, and continuous-improvement tools is preferred. Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, 5S, occupational safety, and related manufacturing standards is an advantage. Demonstrated leadership, team-management, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage priorities under pressure. Basic English communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
