Product Specialist

Position: Product Sourcing Specialist Job Responsibilities Research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new product development and sourcing. Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, both locally and internationally. Request quotations and compare pricing, quality, and purchasing terms to ensure the best sourcing decisions. Coordinate with Purchasing, Marketing, Warehouse, and other related departments to ensure smooth product procurement and launch processes. Evaluate product samples in collaboration with the QC and Product Development teams. Conduct cost analysis and recommend appropriate pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers. Monitor delivery schedules and evaluate supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality standards. Prepare reports on new products, trial products, and alternative product sourcing initiatives. Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and procurement documentation. Conduct product training sessions for employees to enhance product knowledge and awareness. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, or related functions. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Ability to analyze product costs, pricing structures, and profitability. Good understanding of market trends and the ability to identify new product opportunities. Experience in sourcing and identifying new manufacturers and suppliers. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficient in English communication (spoken and written) Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
