The Role: Immediate start, Term 3 2026 Emergency/Part Time/Full time as a CRT Primary and Secondary schools Available to travel to Craigeburn, Wallan, Bundoora, Tullamarine and surrounds Expect a Star is working closely with the Department of Education, independent and catholic schools, to support with their emergency Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) and Full-time needs. We are liaising directly with the School Principals to select and assign high quality Primary and Secondary generalist teachers when their needs arise. What you will do: Deliver engaging lesson plans and activities, while maintaining a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment. Effectively manage classroom behaviour and uphold school expectations and policies. Supervise students during transitions and designated duties as required, including playground supervision. Collaborate professionally with support staff to accurately record and communicate incidents, student progress and relevant feedback in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures. What you need: Relevant teaching qualifications and experience Valid VIT registration Up to date child safety training 2x professional referees Availability through Term 3 and/or 4 2026, and sometimes at short notice Why us?
