Electrician — Second in Charge (2IC), Auckland Wells | Auckland | Permanent, full-time Wells is one of New Zealand's largest privately-owned electrical, instrumentation and automation businesses and we're growing fast. You won't be thrown in the deep end: you'll build into the 2IC responsibilities alongside the Supervisor, stepping up further as your confidence and capability grow. You'll: · Carry out electrical installation, service and maintenance work · Act as 2IC on projects, helping lead day-to-day site activity and stepping in when the Supervisor is on leave or needs support · Support job planning, scoping and quote preparation · Coordinate work on site and support other electricians when needed · Maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards · Build client relationships through reliable, professional delivery · Some Upper North Island travel and a fairly shared on-call roster are part of the role. About you · NZ Registered Electrician (EWRB) · A good sort who is confident technically sound and comfortable working independently or within a team · Some experience supervising, leading small jobs, job planning or clearly ready to start · Reliable, organised, and respected by the people you work alongside · Safety-focused with high standards of workmanship · Full NZ driver's licence About Wells Wells is a New Zealand owned electrical, instrumentation, automation, metering and specialist technical businesses, working on projects across the country from commercial and industrial fit-outs to major infrastructure.
