Key Responsibilities A. Sales Target Achievement & Team Leadership Assist the Sales GM in developing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans; cascade targets to teams and channel partners. Lead the execution of key accounts or specific channels (e.g., Food Service), focusing on new customer acquisition, retention of core accounts, and improving client stickiness. Manage the daily operations of the sales team, including performance management (PM) and capability building, to foster a high-performance culture. Drive talent coaching and development initiatives: Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions; design and deliver tailored coaching programs to upskill team members. Establish clear succession planning for key positions and mentor high-potential talents to build a robust talent pipeline. Manage the sales budget to ensure optimal ROI and accountability for bottom-line profitability. B. Marketing Strategy Coordination & Field Execution Coordinate Marketing Resources: Act as the primary liaison with the Marketing Department to deeply understand brand strategies. Ensure that above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) campaigns are executed effectively at the front end (retail shelves/Food Service outlets). Feedback Loop: Represent the sales frontline by providing the Marketing team with timely insights regarding competitor activities, consumer sentiment, and channel constraints. Assist Marketing in refining promotional mechanics to ensure they are practical and executable. Visibility & Merchandising: Monitor retail shelf standards, in-store visibility (POSM), and brand image compliance to ensure alignment with Marketing guidelines. C. Business Analytics & Data Driven Utilize business analytics tools to review sales performance data (SKU mix, channel inventory, pricing integrity) to identify growth opportunities and risks. Guide the sales team in optimizing route-to-market, adjusting product assortments, and improving store productivity through data insights. Assist in establishing accurate sales forecasting models to enhance supply chain responsiveness. Job Requirements A. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or above (Marketing, Business Administration preferred). 10-15 years of experience in FMCG , with at least 5 years in field sales management . Experience in Edible Oils, Seasonings, or Staples is highly preferred. Proven track record in Food Service (HoReCa) channel management or Key Account Management; familiarity with chain restaurant procurement processes is essential. Prior experience in a Marketing function (e.g., Brand Manager, Product Manager, or Trade Marketing) is a significant plus , though not a mandatory requirement. B. Core Competencies Strong Sales Leadership: Demonstrated ability in target decomposition, team motivation, and channel conflict resolution. Thrives under pressure. Marketing Synergy: Ability to understand marketing logic and leverage marketing resources to drive sales results, rather than simply demanding resources. A collaborative mindset is essential. Data-Driven Mindset: Strong P&L awareness and the ability to derive actionable insights from data. Familiar with BI tools and use of A.I. Agents for data analysis and research is an advantage. Communication & Influence: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with functional departments (Marketing, Analytics) under the guidance of the Sales GM. C. Personal Attributes Highly goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and resilience. Integrity and professionalism.
