SVP Senior Legal Counsel

Executive Summary A leading luxury real estate group is seeking a highly experienced SVP – Senior Legal Counsel to lead complex real estate and property management legal matters across premium residential and mixed-use developments. This role requires a strong hands-on legal professional with deep expertise in Thai and English contract drafting, negotiation, and advisory work involving both Thai and expatriate clients. The successful candidate will act as a strategic legal partner to senior management while remaining closely involved in day-to-day commercial contract execution, ensuring transactions are legally robust, commercially sound, and aligned with the company’s high service standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and finalization of bilingual (Thai & English) contracts related to luxury real estate and property management operations. Handle property management agreements for high-net-worth Thai and expatriate clients, including residential leasing, serviced residences, villa management, and related hospitality-style services. Advise business teams on real estate transactions, property operations, customer agreements, vendor contracts, and commercial arrangements. Support acquisitions, development projects, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships from a legal and risk management perspective. Ensure legal documentation complies with Thai laws and relevant regulatory requirements while protecting the company’s commercial interests. Provide practical legal guidance to senior executives and operational stakeholders on contractual obligations, dispute prevention, and risk mitigation. Manage external legal counsel and oversee litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution matters when required. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely contract execution and resolution of legal issues across projects and property portfolios. Contribute to the enhancement of contract templates, legal processes, and governance standards across the organization. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); Master’s degree is an advantage. Licensed lawyer in Thailand preferred. Minimum 12–15 years of legal experience, with significant exposure to luxury real estate, property management, hospitality, or high-end residential developments . Proven hands-on experience drafting and negotiating complex Thai and English contracts. Strong expertise in property management agreements, lease agreements, service agreements, and real estate commercial contracts. Experience dealing with both Thai and expatriate clients in a premium service environment. Excellent command of Thai and English , including legal drafting, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and ability to balance legal protection with business objectives. Ability to work independently, manage multiple high-value matters simultaneously, and interact confidently with senior executives and international stakeholders. Preferred Profile Background from a leading real estate developer, luxury property management company, international law firm, or hospitality group. Familiarity with condominium, leasehold, freehold, property management, and foreign ownership structures in Thailand. Experience supporting premium residential brands and ultra-high-net-worth clientele is highly desirable. Knowledge Required: Substantial knowledge in law and regulations relating to business and commerce. Knowledge in following law and regulations shall be deemed as advantage: Civil and Commercial Code.
