Business Partner – Revenue & Commercial Boulcott Hospital, based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, is known for exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and a strong sense of community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded professional to lead our revenue cycle and help shape the future of our commercial operations. The role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this newly created role partners with clinical, operational and finance teams to ensure the organisation's revenue systems, commercial arrangements and operational processes work together effectively to support sustainable growth, strong stakeholder relationships and high-quality financial performance. You'll be the key finance contact for insurers and contracted specialists, oversee pricing and contractual arrangements, develop costing and profitability insights, and lead initiatives to improve processes, systems and revenue integrity. This is a unique opportunity to combine commercial analysis, stakeholder management and operational leadership in a role that has a direct impact on organisational performance. Key responsibilities Lead the end-to-end revenue cycle, driving execution from service delivery through to billing and cash collection. Work across departments to solve issues, translating between clinical, operational and financial perspectives. Manage commercial relationships with insurers and contracted specialists. Oversee pricing, funding agreements and revenue-related contracts. Develop costing models, profitability analysis and commercial reporting. Identify opportunities to improve revenue capture, reduce leakage and strengthen financial performance. Lead and execute process improvement initiatives across revenue systems and workflows. About you You'll bring strong commercial and analytical capability, with 5+ years' experience in finance, revenue management, commercial analysis or business partnering. You'll enjoy building relationships, solving complex problems and identifying opportunities to improve business performance. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of driving system or process improvement. You should hold a Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline. A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential. More importantly, you'll be commercially curious, proactive, collaborative and motivated to make a meaningful impact on both operational and financial performance.
