Project Cost Administrator WA Mining Company | Perth, Western Australia About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Administrator to join our Perth-based team, supporting cost control and financial administration across our mining project portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to major resources projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is predominantly a Perth office-based role, with site visits required from time to time to support project teams and cost reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update project cost tracking systems and registers Process purchase orders Capture variations Capture materials purchase Compile invoice data for Finance officer Assist Project Controls with monthly cost reporting Reconcile actual costs against budgets and highlight variances Liaise with site personnel, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost data Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems Assist with month-end close processes and cost report preparation Support internal and external audit requirements as needed About You Previous experience in a Cost Administrator, Project Administrator, or similar role, ideally within mining, resources, or construction Strong working knowledge of SAP, Ellipse, JDE, or similar ERP/cost management systems Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of the business Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Finance, or similar (desirable but not essential) What's on Offer Competitive salary package Perth-based, office role with occasional site liaison Supportive, team-oriented culture Opportunity to work on significant WA resources projects Career development opportunities within a growing organisation
