About the Role We are seeking an experienced Deputy Director of General Assembly Factory to support the General Manager in leading General Assembly (GA) operations. This role is responsible for driving production performance, quality excellence, cost optimization, workforce development, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in leading General Assembly operations and executing manufacturing strategies. Oversee daily production activities to ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and operational KPIs are achieved. Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency. Drive quality improvement initiatives to achieve production and customer quality targets. Manage manufacturing costs, labor productivity, and operational budgets. Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance. Oversee workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning within the General Assembly department. Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Process Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Support localization initiatives by developing Thai managers, engineers, and supervisors. Perform other duties assigned by Management. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing. At least 5 years of leadership experience in General Assembly, Production, or Manufacturing Operations. Experience in multinational automotive manufacturing or joint-venture operations is preferred. Strong knowledge of General Assembly processes, Lean Manufacturing, and automotive quality systems. Proven experience leading large production teams and driving operational excellence. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage. Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
