Merchandising Manager

Job Responsibilities: Manage a team of Merchandisers Handle daily operations of the offices Liaise with different departments (Purchasing, Shipping, etc) Ensure products are made to specification and quality compliance Fully responsible for product development and merchandising activities Supervise sourcing, designing, selecting and identifying suitable products to fit customer's needs and requirements Assist in ad hoc project when necessary Provide technical advice/support on products to the customers and factories Experiences in packaging artwork development coordination will be an advantage Knowledge of Safety and Legal compliance in USA and Europe Job Requirements: Degree holders with min. 10 years Toys merchandising experience with at least 5 years managerial experience trading firm; Good sourcing knowledge & familiar with standard of safely requirements in toys industry; Fluency in spoken or written English and Mandarin is a must; Excellent skills in communication, presentation and negotiation; Strong problem solving skills, initiative, aggressive and willing to take challenges; Strong leadership skills, target oriented and able to work under pressure; Self-motivated, analytical, tactful with excellent problem solving skills; Able to multi-task and work in tight time frames; Mature and result target driven; Maintaining an ethical standard; Occasional Business Trips to Overseas/China are required.
