Job Description An Accounts Executive (AP & GL) manages the full transactional cycle of Accounts Payable alongside core General Ledger maintenance to ensure accurate financial reporting. This hybrid finance role sits between daily processing and final corporate closing, requiring strong foundational bookkeeping skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software Accounts Payable (AP) Functions Invoice Processing : Review, verify, and input supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes into the ERP system. Payment Cycles : Execute manual and electronic vendor payments according to agreed payment schedules. Vendor Management : Create new vendor master data, maintain existing records, and resolve vendor statement discrepancies. Three-Way Matching : Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders (PO) and delivery order (DO) to resolve pricing or quantity differences. AP Reconciliation : Perform monthly AP reconciliations against vendor statements and sub-ledgers. General Ledger (GL) & Financial Reporting Journal Entries : Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and recurring journal entries. Month-End Closing : Complete month-end closing activities to support timely financial reporting. Bank Reconciliation : Conduct daily or monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring. Fixed Assets : Maintain the fixed asset register, track additions, calculate depreciation schedules, and record disposals. Intercompany Transactions : Reconcile intercompany balances and process billing adjustments across entities. Compliance & Audit Support Tax Filing : Assist with tax compliance, including the calculation, reconciliation, and submission of SST Audit Preparation : Gather financial documentation, prepare audit schedules
