Payroll Analyst | 12 Month Contract Perth | Hybrid Working | Flexible Hours An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join a leading Australian organisation on a 12 month contract. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working with complex payrolls, analysing data, improving processes and providing technical payroll support within a collaborative team environment. The Role Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant and timely payroll services across a large and complex workforce. You'll be responsible for payroll reporting, reconciliations, compliance, system support and identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls. Working closely with Payroll, HR, Finance and IT teams, you'll provide analytical support while helping maintain the integrity and efficiency of payroll operations. Key Responsibilities Perform payroll reporting, reconciliations and quality assurance activities Complete month-end and year-end payroll reconciliations Support statutory reporting, including PAYG, Superannuation, payroll tax and STP Reconcile payroll to the General Ledger and investigate discrepancies Analyse payroll data and resolve complex payroll queries Support payroll system enhancements, upgrades, testing and process improvements Assist with payroll audits, compliance and governance activities Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver effective payroll support About You To be successful, you will have: Significant experience working in a high-volume payroll environment Strong analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills Experience with enterprise payroll systems (SAP experience highly regarded) Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information Experience with payroll system implementations, SAP Employee Central Payroll, payroll accounting or General Ledger reconciliations will be highly regarded.
