About the role MICRODIA Ltd. is seeking experienced Sourcing Officers to join our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory team. This is a full-time position based in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District. As a Sourcing Officer, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and securing suppliers and materials that support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This position is essential to ensuring we maintain competitive pricing, quality standards, and reliable supply chains that directly impact our operational efficiency and profitability. What you'll be doing Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers across domestic and international markets to meet organisational requirements Developing and maintaining supplier relationships whilst negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contractual agreements Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers Preparing sourcing proposals, requests for quotations (RFQs), and tender documents for review and approval Analysing supplier performance metrics and managing supplier scorecards to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards Collaborating with internal stakeholders including production, quality assurance, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives Managing procurement processes from requisition through to order placement and expediting deliveries as required Maintaining accurate records of supplier information, pricing, and contracts within our procurement systems Identifying and managing supply chain risks, including alternative sourcing options and contingency planning Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors Proven experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management Strong knowledge of procurement practices, including RFQ processes, contract management, and supplier performance assessment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers Attention to detail and organisational ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices Familiarity with international sourcing and import/export procedures is advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team What we offer At MICRODIA Ltd., we are committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our employees.
