Experienced Landscape Gardener (Full-Time)

Now we’re looking for an experienced landscape gardener to take ownership of maintaining some of those spaces to the highest standard. This role is for someone who: Takes real pride in the quality of their work Has 2 + years experience with strong plant knowledge and actually enjoys working with gardens Can be trusted to take ownership of their work and deliver a high standard Communicates well with clients and builds great relationships Wants to be part of a team that works hard and has each other’s backs This is NOT for someone who: Cuts corners or rushes jobs Avoids responsibility or accountability Doesn’t care about the end result Just wants to clock in and out What you’ll be doing You’ll take ownership of the ongoing care and maintenance of both newly completed and established gardens. That includes: Pruning, shaping, and plant care Pest and disease management Planting, mulching, and garden presentation Hedge trimming and general garden maintenance Working across residential and commercial properties Delivering a consistently high standard of work our clients notice You won’t just be “doing jobs” - you’ll be maintaining outdoor spaces that clients genuinely value. What you’ll need Proven experience in garden maintenance or horticulture Level 3–4 Imenitities Horticulture qualification (or equivalent experience) Strong plant knowledge and identification skills Experience with pruning, spraying, and general garden care A full NZ driver’s licence (manual preferred) The ability to work unsupervised and take ownership Great communication skills with both clients and team members A genuine pride in doing the job properly Bonus (but not essential): Turf care experience Irrigation installation and repairs Keen to join us?
