About the role A significant career opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ years PAE) to join a highly respected and progressive family law team in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. Duties In this role, you will: Advise on complex family law matters including parenting, property, child support, and financial agreements Oversee a diverse caseload involving divorce, de facto and same-sex relationships, spousal maintenance, children’s issues incl. Hague convention Advise private clients on taxation and estate planning as it relates to family law Engage in settlement negotiations, mediations, and litigation as required Draft high-quality legal documentation and provide strategic advice to clients Foster strong, trust-based relationships with clients and key external stakeholders Skills & experience The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 4+ years’ PAE in family law Experience handling a wide range of matters independently, including property and parenting disputes Strong technical, drafting, and client advisory skills Excellent communication, time management, and organisational abilities A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach About our client Our client is a leading suburban law firm with a strong reputation in family law, built on consistent results and high standards of client service. join a highly respected & progressive family law team!
