About the job: We’re looking for a versatile and eager person to join our team of everyday heroes in New Plymouth! As a Reinstatement Technician , you will work on roads, footpaths, and reserves after maintenance work has been completed by our water and wastewater teams. This may include: Restoring roads, footpaths and work sites to a high standard. Concrete work, paving, backfilling and site preparation. Traffic management and maintaining safe work sites. Supporting other water and wastewater activities when required, including pipe laying and excavation. Maintaining tools, equipment and vehicles. Contributing to a safe, efficient and well-organised team environment. What you’ll need: A full class 1 drivers’ licence, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic To be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, and as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role, such as labouring, is advantageous but not essential A health, safety and quality focus at all times Physically fit to undertake work Willingness to learn! Experienced or not, we are looking for the right people, with the right attitude, to take on this opportunity. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain some experience within the water industry and star their careers with Citycare Water! All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction.
