About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services in the Emergency Department. This role supports the safe, effective, and timely use of medicines in a fast-paced acute care environment. You will provide patient-centred clinical pharmacy care to patients presenting to ED, helping to optimise medicines management and improve health outcomes. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine clinicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support clinical decision-making, medicines safety, and quality patient care. This position is ideal for pharmacists with an interest in emergency medicine and acute care. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical practice while caring for patients with a diverse range of acute and complex healthcare needs. About the Service The Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Pharmacy Service provides essential pharmacy services to Waikato Hospital and rural hospitals, as well as tertiary advisory and support services to the Te Manawa Taki region.
