About the role We’re looking for an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join our Wellington team at an exciting time, with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across the region. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced commercial and project teams on a diverse range of commercial construction projects. You’ll be involved across estimating, tendering, contract administration and commercial management, with the chance to build your skills on projects of varying scale. Your key responsibilities Preparing quantities, estimates, budgets and pricing documentation. Supporting tendering, subcontractor engagement and supplier pricing. Managing claims, variations, progress payments, forecasting and reporting. Providing commercial support across pre-construction, design and live project stages. Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams. What we’re looking for A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Quantity Surveying. Around 4+ years’ QS experience in commercial or multi-residential construction. Confidence with measuring, ideally including concrete and carpentry works. Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Great communication, negotiation and relationship-building ability. A positive, practical and team-focused approach.
