🌿 Seasonal Gardener & Groundkeeper – Pihopa Retreat (Nelson) 🌿 Do you have a passion for gardens, attention to detail, and pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best? We’re looking for a hands-on Gardener & Groundskeeper to join our small team at Pihopa Retreat , a luxury accommodation and events venue in Nelson. About the Role This is a contractor or seasonal fixed-term position , perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work and wants to be part of a supportive team in a beautiful setting. As Gardener, you’ll be responsible for the care and upkeep of our stunning grounds, including: Day-to-day maintenance of lawns, borders, flower beds, hedges, and trees Planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, watering, and pest management Seasonal planting and propagation Keeping outdoor areas tidy and guest-ready Light DIY tasks (basic carpentry, painting, furniture care) Supporting the team with property and event preparation when required About You We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping Knowledgeable about plants, soils, and seasonal care Practical and confident using garden tools and machinery safely Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Flexible and willing to help across the property when needed Has handyman skills to help maintain the property Able to work outdoors in wet weather Why Join Us?
