About the role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial administration, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting customers and suppliers, and providing first-line leadership within the finance team. You'll oversee daily finance operations while helping identify opportunities to automate and improve processes using technology and AI. You will also be a key team member helping with the implementation of MYOB Acumatica ERP. Key responsibilities Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions. Support payroll processing and review for accuracy. Complete daily bank reconciliations and maintain the cash planner. Process bank deposits, withdrawals, credit card and debit card transactions. Maintain customer and supplier accounts within the accounting system. Prepare account reconciliations, journals and financial adjustments. Complete intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Follow up outstanding customer payments and supplier queries. Produce reports and financial analysis using spreadsheets and accounting software. Coordinate the day-to-day workload of the finance team. About you 4–5 years' experience in an graduate accountant or similar accounting role. Ideally CA qualified (or very near to being qualified). Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Bank Reconciliations. Experience preparing journals, reconciliations and financial reports. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. Proven ability to work independently while supporting a team. Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar ERP/accounting systems will be highly regarded. Experience supervising or coordinating finance staff is desirable.
