Every role in our team contributes directly to protecting the environment and shaping a sustainable future. We are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Auckland Operations team. This hands-on role supports the reliability, safety, and performance of our heavy vehicle fleet. Reporting to the Fleet & Yard Manager, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our trucks, vacuum units, and associated equipment—reducing downtime and preventing costly breakdowns. Our workshop is based in Northcote, with some travel required to attend vehicle breakdowns both within and outside of Auckland when needed. About the role Maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and equipment. Preventative servicing to minimise downtime. Responding to breakdowns on a rostered basis. Ensuring fleet compliance (WOF/COF, audits, records). Working closely with the Fleet & Yard Manager and logistics team.
