Summary As the Director of Sales, you will lead the hotel's sales strategy and drive revenue growth while ensuring the efficient operation of the Sales Department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards. You will play a key leadership role in achieving commercial objectives while delivering exceptional value to associates, guests, and owners. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will provide strategic direction and leadership across all sales activities. Working collaboratively with the Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments, you will identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and maximize revenue through effective sales initiatives, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications Due to work permit requirements, this position is open only to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia. A university degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a luxury international hotel brand is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to drive results with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of achieving sales objectives. Excellent problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
