Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Systems Support Provide hands-on support for IT hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, POS machines, handheld scanners, and networking equipment. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, routers, VPN, etc.). Support and administer IT PC and IT equipment and endpoint security and productivity tools. Perform system upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability and new project(s) rollout deployment and support. Retail-Specific Support Provide technical support for POS systems, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and cash drawers across retail outlets. Troubleshoot hardware and network issues in-store to ensure minimal disruption to customer service. Support integration between POS, inventory management systems, and SAP ERP. Operations & Maintenance Manage IT asset inventory, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and lifecycle management. Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested. Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs. User Support Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support to retail staff and office users (onsite & remote). Train end-users on IT systems, security practices, and hardware usage. Escalate complex issues to vendors or higher-level support teams when necessary. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in IT infrastructure, system support, or a similar role (preferably in retail or warehouse environments). Hands-on experience in supporting IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and POS systems. Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VPN, Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting). Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues with strong problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate well within a team. Good communication skills to liaise with internal users and external vendors. Experience supporting POS systems and retail IT operations will be an added advantage.
