Step into a career with Bata and be part of our Re-Ignite Strategy 2030. With over 130 years of heritage, we are transforming Bata into a stronger global brand by creating unreasonably good shoes, making them available to everyone, everywhere, and empowering our people to drive profitable growth and innovation. Bata is a leading global footwear company with more than 130 years of heritage and operations in over 70 countries, serving millions of customers worldwide. Guided by our belief that everyone, everywhere deserves good shoes and our mission to move the world forward, Bata is embarking on an ambitious Re-Ignite Strategy 2030 transformation journey. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. System Mastery & Optimization · Full Adoption: Ensuring team moves beyond manual overrides to a data-driven "system-led" replenishment culture. · Parameter Excellence: Audit and refine system parameters to ensure HPM output aligns with actual store capacity and sales velocity. 2. Strategic Replenishment · Dynamic Allocation: Pivot inventory strategies between "Push" (New Arrivals/Initial Allocation) and "Pull" (Daily Supply) to maximize Full Price Sell-Through (FPST). · Replenishment Planning: Plan and execute replenishment logic especially for Long Holiday and Seasonal Peaks (like Back to School and Songkran Ecom Double Digit) while balancing WH capacity with store footprint. · Buffer Management: Manage "Strategic Stock" holding at the WH to quickly react to sales trends or unexpected stock-outs in high-performing stores. 3. End-to-End Business Ownership · Anomaly Detection: Establish a routine to spot system anomalies (e.g., zero-replenishment on top sellers or over-stocking in low-tier stores) before they impact business. · Data stewardship and proactive problem-solving: Ensuring technology serves commercial strategy and that every system output is validated against real business needs. · Ownership Mindset: "Owning the numbers" When system suggests an illogical move, you must have the commercial "gut feel" to investigate, correct the root cause parameter, and prevent recurrence. Qualifications & Experiences: · Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain Management. · 5–8 years of experience in Retail Planning or Distribution (Footwear/Apparel preferred). · Strong analytical, numerical, and financial modeling skills (advanced Excel proficiency referred). · Familiarity with planning systems such as Blue Yonder, SAP, or equivalent BI tools. Core Competencies: · Sense of urgency & high ownership - someone who treats a system error as a lost sale opportunity · Strategic & analytical thinking · Cross-functional collaboration attitude · Data-driven decision making · Detail orientation & process discipline · Change agility and continuous improvement mindset At Bata, our people are at the heart of our success. We foster a collaborative, inclusive, and agile culture where employees are empowered to learn, grow, and make an impact. Whether in our stores, offices, or distribution centers, every team member plays an important role in bringing our purpose to life and helping move Bata forward.
