Operations Manager — Entertainment Division MAKEIO Group | Bangkok, Thailand MAKEIO Group operates 8 entertainment venues across Bangkok and Phuket (Playerbox, E-Gokart, Padel), is the sole Segway-Ninebot distributor in Thailand, and has operations spanning 7 countries. Why this role exists We grew from 1 to 8 venues fast. SOPs are incomplete, the workforce is largely part-time, and several Branch Managers need development. We need someone to build the operational backbone — not just keep things running. What you will do Build systems (60%) — Audit and rewrite SOPs. Design operating cadences (daily/weekly/monthly). Run root cause analysis on recurring problems. Build training curricula for every staff level. Build the team (30%) — Develop Area Manager and Branch Managers to make decisions independently. Set KPIs at each layer. Drive part-time to full-time conversion. Coach the next generation of venue leaders. Monitor results (10%) — Track venue KPIs (revenue, uptime, satisfaction, attendance). Deliver monthly operations reports to the AGM. What we're looking for 3–5 years in operations, project management, or process improvement — ideally multi-site Engineering or technical background strongly preferred (IE, management engineering, or related analytical discipline) Has built SOPs or process documentation from scratch — not just followed existing ones Comfortable in Google Workspace, POS systems, and data tools — thinks in spreadsheets, not just walkie-talkies Strong analytical skills — sees patterns and solves at root cause level Excellent Thai communication; English is a plus High EQ — empathetic with the team, firm on standards This role is NOT for someone who needs to be on the floor every day to keep venues open, solves problems on the spot but has never documented a process, or has deep floor experience but is uncomfortable with back-office systems and documentation.
