Position Title Legal Executive Department Legal and compliance Report to Manager - Legal Job Purpose The Legal Executive supports the Legal Manager in handling the company’s legal and compliance matters, including contract review, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory, to ensure effective risk management and alignment with legal requirements. Roles & Responsibilities Legal Advisory Support : Assist in providing timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on day-to-day business matters. Contract Management : Support the drafting, review, and coordination of standard contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Compliance Oversight : Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and escalate issues where necessary. Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance matters, including preparation of documents, maintaining records, and assisting with board/committee matters. Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote ethical behavior within the organizatio n. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and timely advice to management and other stakeholder s. Regulatory & Filing : Support regulatory submissions, documentation, and liaison with regulators as required. APAC Center of Excellence Suppor t: Support the APAC Center of Excellence model by coordinating and responding to regional initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and facilitating the implementation of requests and projects driven by the APAC office. Other Duties : Perform other related duties as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned. Candidate Specification Bachelor’s degree in Law is a must. A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) or a relevant field is preferred Minimum of 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in legal roles within the insurance industry, with a focus on non-life insurance In-depth knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to non-life insurance Experience in handling legal aspects of insurance product development, distribution, and claims processing Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to develop into a future managerial role
