Our client is a leading international retail sourcing and quality organization supporting consumer products across multiple global markets. The Hong Kong office plays a critical role in product quality, safety, and compliance, working closely with suppliers, laboratories, and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet stringent international standards. Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end quality assurance activities, including product certification, laboratory testing, and inspection processes for assigned product categories. Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories across Asia, Europe, and other regions to support product compliance and certification requirements. Review test reports, certification documents, and technical records to ensure timely project execution. Investigate product test failures, identify root causes, and provide recommendations to suppliers for corrective actions. Partner closely with Quality, Merchandising, Product Development, and Packaging teams on product-related quality and safety matters. Review product artwork, labels, manuals, and packaging to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy. Monitor project timelines and proactively escalate critical quality or compliance issues when necessary. Support suppliers and laboratory partners in resolving testing and certification issues. Contribute ideas for product quality enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives. Support team development by sharing technical knowledge and promoting a proactive, solution-oriented culture. Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Hardgoods, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Product Safety, or Engineering functions. Strong technical knowledge of Power Tools, Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), or consumer electronics products. Experience working with third-party testing laboratories is highly desirable. Exposure to international retail, sourcing, or product compliance environments will be an advantage. Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is highly preferred. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical reports and regulatory requirements. Effective communicator with the ability to work across suppliers, laboratories, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Google Workspace or equivalent office applications.
