Position Summary The Vice President of Hotels provides executive leadership for the company's hotel portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, sustainable profitability, exceptional guest experiences, and long-term business growth. This role oversees hotel operations across multiple properties, driving strategic initiatives, brand standards, commercial performance, financial results, and organizational development. The Vice President of Hotels partners closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, Development, and Property General Managers to maximize performance while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the overall operational strategy for the hotel portfolio. Drive business growth, profitability, and long-term value creation. Lead strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. Support hotel openings, acquisitions, conversions, and rebranding projects where applicable. Ensure alignment of hotel operations with corporate objectives and brand standards. Operational Excellence Provide executive oversight for multiple hotels and resort operations. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences and service quality. Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Establish operational best practices and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand requirements, health & safety, and regulatory standards. Commercial & Revenue Performance Partner with Commercial, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to maximize hotel revenue. Review market trends, competitive positioning, and commercial strategies. Drive performance across all revenue streams including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events, Spa, and other ancillary businesses. Monitor key commercial and operational KPIs across the portfolio. Financial Management Oversee annual operating budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning. Ensure hotels achieve profitability targets while maintaining operational excellence. Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions where required. Optimize labor productivity and cost management initiatives. Leadership & Talent Development Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers and senior hotel leadership teams. Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention initiatives. Champion employee engagement and organizational culture. Owner & Stakeholder Relations Build strong relationships with hotel owners, investors, asset managers, and business partners. Present business performance, strategic initiatives, and financial results to executive leadership and ownership groups. Represent the company during owner meetings, industry events, and strategic partnerships. Brand & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with international brand standards where applicable. Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation, and service excellence initiatives. Oversee quality assurance audits and continuous service improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the hospitality industry. At least 7 years in a Regional Director, Area Director, Vice President, or multi-property executive leadership role . Proven experience managing multi-property hotel operations. Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operating budgets. Experience with international hotel brands is highly desirable.
