Senior Auditor

Job Description: Plan financial audits by understanding organizational objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations; identify risk areas; prepare audit scopes and objectives; and develop audit programs. Perform audits of financial statements using various methodologies, including inquiry, vouching, tracing, examination, observation, and analysis. Evaluate internal controls and accounting systems; recommend areas for improvement. Complete audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings. Maintain client relationships at the appropriate level and present a positive impression of the firm. Contribute to team results by supporting new and varied work requirements and assisting colleagues as needed. Stay up to date with changes or planned updates to accounting standards or other relevant pronouncements and understand their impact on audit strategy. Strong communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with the team and professional engagement with clients. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related field. At least 3 years of audit experience in any industry. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis) Strong project management skills. Enthusiasm and readiness for new assignments.
