Finance Director

About the Role People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a growing manufacturing company in the Central Region. This is a full-time opportunity to lead and shape the company's financial strategy. As the Finance Director, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring strong financial governance, and supporting the achievement of overall business objectives. Reporting directly to senior management, you will have a significant impact on the strategic direction and long-term success of the organization. What You'll Be Doing Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies and policies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash flow management. Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while maintaining high standards of financial excellence. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Establish and maintain effective internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to support business performance and strategic initiatives. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial service providers. Identify and drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost optimization initiatives. Participate in board-level discussions and provide strategic financial advice to support business growth. What We're Looking For Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a Finance Director or equivalent senior leadership role . Strong English communication skills , both written and verbal. Proven experience in the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, corporate governance, and statutory compliance. Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations. Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Strategic mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes.
