Job duties: · Define and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and growth goals · Develop category strategies for raw materials, components, packaging, and services · Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers worldwide · Lead executive-level supplier reviews and long-term partnerships · Drive supplier development projects to improve quality, delivery, and responsiveness · Lead complex, high-value contract negotiations · Establish master supply agreements with favourable terms · Ensure compliance with trade regulations, ethical sourcing, and CSR mandates · Mitigate risks such as single-source exposure, geopolitical instability, and capacity constraints · Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply during disruptions · Partner with engineering, R&D, operations, finance, and legal teams · Support new product launches by securing qualified suppliers and capacity · Track sourcing savings, supplier performance, and risk reduction metrics · Implement continuous improvement initiatives across cost, quality, and sustainability Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred · 20–25+ years of progressive experience in international sourcing, procurement, and supply chain leadership · Proven track record managing multi-country vendor networks and cross-border logistics operations · Strong expertise in contract negotiation, compliance, and global trade regulations · Demonstrated success in risk mitigation, credit control, and continuity planning · Ability to lead multi-office teams across diverse cultural and linguistic environments · Proficiency in Mandarin and English; additional languages are an advantage · Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, cost savings, and ROI metrics · Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills at board level · Willingness to travel internationally for supplier engagement, audits, and market expansion
