About the role As a Senior Legal Counsel , you will be responsible for overseeing legal affairs and managing legal risks across the company's corporate and manufacturing operations in Thailand. You will provide practical legal guidance, support strategic business decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect the company's legal interests while working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors. Key responsibilities Oversee legal affairs and manage legal risks relating to the company's and manufacturing operations. Provide legal advice and practical solutions to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Conduct legal research on Thai laws, regulations, and policies, particularly relating to procurement, purchasing, and manufacturing operations. Draft, review, negotiate, and revise commercial contracts and other legal documents. Support contract negotiations and advise on commercial transactions. Develop and deliver legal and compliance training programs for internal stakeholders. Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and non-litigation legal matters, coordinating with external legal counsel when required. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures. Support corporate governance and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Perform other legal assignments and special projects as delegated by Management. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree or above in Law; a Master's degree is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate legal, commercial legal, or law firm practice. Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, or industrial businesses is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Thai corporate law, commercial law, procurement, and regulatory compliance. Professional experience in contract drafting, contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and corporate legal advisory. Thai Lawyer License or qualification is preferred. Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required.
