Trading Assistant

Responsibilities: Execute trade bookings with accuracy and efficiency across a range of instruments, including equity derivatives, listed options, OTC options, and structured products. Conduct end-of-day reconciliations to ensure full alignment between positions, cash balances, and internal systems. Proactively resolve any trade breaks or discrepancies in coordination with middle/back-office teams and external counterparties. Support daily trading activities and trade execution (equity and derivatives); Shadow senior trader and gradually take on small-scale execution tasks under supervision, moving toward independent trading authority. Prepare trade-related reports and client statements. Manage trading risks and ensure compliance with internal policies, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong controls over trade execution. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related fields from a top-tier university; 1-2 years of relevant experience within trading assistant duties, middle office, or trade operations. Proficiency in Excel; experience in Bloomberg is a plus. Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus; Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail. Proven ability to work under pressure, react quickly, and handle complex tasks simultaneously. Candidates with SFC Type 1 license and CFA Level 1 will have an added advantage.
