Investment Technology Delivery Manager (FO)

We are hiring a Delivery Manager to join the Investment Technology of a major financial institution supporting Front Office, Trading, and Risk technology initiatives across multiple business units. The Delivery manager will act as the key technical delivery lead for Front Office solutions, working closely with Internal Investment stakeholders to design, deliver, and support technology initiatives. Responsibilities Act as the Application Delivery Manager for Front Office solutions within Investment teams, leading the delivery and support of technology initiatives for Trading and Risk. Analyse business requirements from Front Office users and translate them into practical technical solutions that align with business and strategic goals. Lead and coordinate project teams (including internal staff and external vendors) to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and to the required standard. Design and propose technical solutions in close collaboration with technology partners, while managing architecture and security reviews in accordance with internal policies. Serve as the main point of contact and escalation for Internal Investment stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment between business needs and technical delivery. Oversee the performance of service providers and development teams, ensuring quality, timelines and service levels are met. Build strong working relationships with Front Office stakeholders by understanding their day-to-day workflows and how they leverage technology. Provide regular progress updates and risk reporting to stakeholders to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all delivery work complies with internal standards, including data governance, system integration, and reporting requirements. Role Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technology delivery leadership role within the Financial Services industry Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, eFront, or similar Front Office investment platforms Experience managing enterprise-level API delivery and system integrations Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Deep understanding of IT and operational applications, ideally within Investment or Asset Management Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage Front Office stakeholders Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory); proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage Nice to Have Knowledge of programming and data tools such as Python, R, JSON, or VB Experience with data platform solutions (e.g. Databricks) Strong grasp of emerging technologies and trends in Data and AI Self-motivated, resourceful, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player
